Tania Sanchez Quirante
Bio
Tania has a background in drug discovery and nucleic acid chemistry. She studied Chemistry at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and earned her Master’s degree in Drug Discovery at USPCEU Madrid. During her PhD at the Institute of Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry in Prague, in Prof. Michal Hocek’s group, she focused on modified RNA synthesis and selected RNA modifications. She also gained international experience at the University of Oxford in Prof. Tom Brown’s group and at the University of Warsaw in Dr. Joanna Kowalska’s group during her Marie Skłodowska-Curie internships.
Role
Tania brings expertise in nucleoside and nucleotide chemistry, modified RNA, and medicinal chemistry. She contributes to synthesis, purification, and characterization of complex molecules, drawing on her background in modified nucleic acids.
