Alessandro Panattoni
Bio
Alessandro graduated in Organic Chemistry from the University of Pisa (Italy), where he worked on imidazole-based push-pull chromophores for solar cells as part of his dissertation thesis under the supervision of Prof. Fabio Bellina. He obtained his PhD from Charles University in Prague (Czech Republic), conducting research under the supervision of Prof. Michal Hocek at the Institute of Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry (IOCB AS CR), focusing on base-modified nucleic acids. During his PhD, he had the opportunity to undertake long-term secondments in Prof. Tom Brown’s group at Oxford University (UK) and Prof. Andrew Kellett’s group at Dublin City University (Ireland).
Role
At SigutLabs, Alessandro works as a senior research scientist. He is responsible for long-term projects involving nucleoside chemistry and linker-payloads for antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs).
