Description

These nucleotide bear alkyne linked to pyrimidine through long flexible linkers, and were previously designed in Michal Hocek group at IOCB (https://pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/acs.orglett.8b01533). The PEG-alkyne-dUTP contains a hydrophilic linker. It is a great substrate for KOD XL polymerase and other DNA polymerases in PEX and PCR amplification, while the flexibility and length of linked alkynes provide a significant advantage for the reactivity in CuAAC of the alkynyl-modified DNA.
